No wonder Rihanna’s latest hit tells the man in her life to “Shut Up And Drive” – she doesn’t own a car!

It’s not that she can’t drive herself (she brags that she passed her test on her first try), and with all the records she’s sold, she can certainly afford one.  The problem?  She’s been too busy to go buy one!

Not surprising, when you think about it.  After all, she’s released 3 CDs in less than 2 years and done plenty of touring – she insisted on performing even after breaking her foot.

She’s so busy, she hasn’t been back to her Barbados home since last December, and she won’t have time to get back there this year until Christmas.  (How do you know she’s an island girl?  When she does get back, she’ll be greeted by Charley and Charley… her two pet turtles.)

While her hectic schedule has kept her far away from home, Rihanna’s certainly not complaining about the success of her latest CD, “Good Girl Gone Bad.”  The first single, “Umbrella,” became her 2nd #1 hit in the US, and in England, the song topped the chart for 10 weeks – longer than any other song so far this century!

“Shut Up And Drive” is the second release from “Good Girl Gone Bad,” and in the video, she does get to drive a Ferrari F430… so at least for a day, she was able to put her license to good use!
